I don’t understand why their parking lot looks full. I think they put this cars there. The restaurant is old & dirty, the service is aweful & the food is worse. It was the worse dining experience ever. Who boils steak, ugh disgusting. Don’t go there ever!!!
Why is the place still in business? My mother and I came here for her birthday. They gave us slices of bread while we waited for our appetizer. Everything was microwaved. The waitress had the audacity to bring Italian bread at the END of the meal. I will never go there again!!!
Service was commendable. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. A 12′ seafood sign near the beach would usually be an indication of an ability to serve fresh selections. This is not the case the seafood was all previously frozen and processed. Wish I would have tried something else on the menu to compare. Do not order seafood here!
The best spaghetti meat sauce on the planet!! Homemade meatballs, the best meatball sub ever, and homemade, hand-cut French fries that are absolutely to die for! We’ve eaten here for 23+ years. And, Perry still does it right every single day. If you’re into fancy and/or trendy, this is not your place. But, if you’re into old-school decor & service, plus excellent, unique flavors that have stood the test of time, then you’ll want to make Gus & George’s a regular stop.
Been here one time!. Great atmosphere! Great service and food!
Waste of time&money!. Microwaved food fast. Sampler platter-1 chic finger,2 mozz sticks & abt 8 fried shrooms.Salad, iceberg lettuce 2tomato slices & onions. (this was by far the best part-it was fresh and the ranch dressing is tasty)Then microwaved seafood platter w 2 shrimp,2scallops 2 oysters, crab cake that was crab flavor&fillers(the nerve to call it a crab cake)packaged slaw & fries were good.My hubby got the queen prime rib platter which looked microwaved as well,no grill or cook marks, fork stabs, seasoning nothing, nada.Honestly looked like it was soaked in soy sauce for color. He took one bite. The spaghetti was watery and tasted like seasoned tomato paste w sugar. We filled up on the crackers at the table, salad & tea.Next time I want to spend $40 on microwave food we’ll go to the frozen food section. What a waste. When asked how our meal was I was honest and told her the tea & ranch dressing was good.Waiteress was sweet but the seniors working there were snobby and just made excuses. Not to mention it took less than 20 minutes for everything.
It takes a certain level of audacity to have chicken parmesan on your menu and have the chicken come out as 2 processed chicken patties with a slice of cheese on it. I’d have sent it back had it not taken 20 minutes to come out in first place. What did you have to do? Heat up the microwave?
