This place is amazing!!! Great mimosas and the bartenders are really sweet. I had the Mediterranean eggs Benedict and they were so full of flavor. The home fries are perfect. My boyfriend got the Pungo Bene and it was massive and delicious!! Will def be back to try the bloody Mary’s.

We came here as a suggestion from a friend who lives in the area and it was fantastic with fantastic service. Hair of the Dog is definitely a come again!
Hair of the dog is beyond just your hangover drink and food savior. This place is one of the best brunch places in the area locally. The food is outstanding. Service is great (at both locations) and the owner definitely knows what he’s doing. Don’t miss out on something that can’t be duplicated.
A fun place. Menu is limited for someone with my dietary restrictions, but it could be worse. I do wish they’d switch the menu up once in a while or feature more specials. Still, a fine place to have a beer and a bit to eat.
Vinegar Eggs. Went with my husband and a couple of friends and found most of the food to be okay. Not great. But my friend got eggs Benedict and couldn’t eat the eggs! They tasted like vinegar. Everyone at the table tried them and agreed they were bad.
Unaccommodating, insulting and unhospitable. My fianc and I live nearby the Hair of the Dog. In the past, we’ve enjoyed the convenient location and comfort food but the greeting I’ve experienced the last two weeks has caused me to leave in search of other options. Last weekend, my mom entered to request a table for 6 at 8:30am. She observed a mostly vacant restaurant with a group of tables put together for presumably an incoming party. The server suggested a 4 person booth for the party of 6. In response, my mom asked if we could join two of the empty tables to avoid cramming. The server insisted the booth was the best option and added that there was an incoming party that may need the seating. We decided to leave the HOTD for a breakfast place down the street we knew we could be accommodated. Today, we came back under similar circumstances, excusing last week’s behavior as a fluke. This time there was no incoming party and our party was of 5. The server sat 3 of our 5 at a 4 top while we waited for the remaining members of our party. She stated we could join another table after the others showed. We waited nearly 5 minutes for a server to ask us if we wanted coffee or beverages while we waited. Instead, the hostess returned and asked us to get up and wait at the bar. Keep in mind, we were sat and not taking up any more space than we already had filled. Reminding the hostess of those facts, we were again declined service. We left the restaurant again.Hair of the Dog has been in our eatery rotation since it opened a while back but I believe today was my last visit. Ultimately, the benefit of its location are being outweighed by the consistently poor service and attitude towards its guests.
