This restaurant is one of the best keep secrets in Virginia Beach! The food is gourmet southern style and delicious. They also do off-site catering and offer their facility as an event rental space – with great food included of course. I highly reccomend them.
Mrs Schempp. Sweetwater Cuisine provided a wonderful venue and fantastic food for our son’s rehearsal dinner! They were wonderful to plan the event with and very flexible. We had more guests arrive then we expected and they managed the evening so beautifully! I would recommend them to all and cannot say enough about the terrific food!
Felt like coming home to have lunch there.. My Mississippi chicken salad was Delish and the coconut cake melted in our mouths!!!! We can’t wait to come back Friday night!!! Roger was wonderful to us!!!!!

Wonderful as always. I recommended Sweetwater Cuisine to my monthly lunch group of former and current real estate agents and we all loved it. The reomoulade on Shrimp Po’boy is wonderfulJodi has catered company events at my home and they have been fabulous. I will recommend her and her businesses to all.
Wedding Caterer. What am amazing job that Sweetwater did for our wedding! Everything was literally perfect! From the amazing hors d’oeuvres to the incredible meats and vegetables, the food was definitely a highlight of the evening. From the planning in the beginning to the final touches on the event day, Jodi and her team were a pleasure. It was so refreshing to find a caterer who really wanted to customize the menu and presentation to you and your day and your ideas. She helped us appeal to some of our southern guests with a great biscuit bar and many guests said that their favorite part of the meal was the individual soups in a bread bowl! Our favorite was hands down the gourmet BLTs – absolutely delicious! We really could not have asked for anything more (except maybe the recipe for the BLTs! 🙂 ). We would absolutely recommend Jodi and Sweetwater Cuisine to anyone who wants a truly unique and personalized event!
Col and Mrs. Ron Garhart. Our daughter-in-law’s baby shower was held at Sweetwater Cuisine – with guests so gracious for such an incredible experience. The ambiance is fabulous – only second to the spectacular cuisine. We just attended a tasting for our daughter’s upcoming wedding reception and we honestly are more impressed than ever. Jodi and Maria make us feel like old friends! You have simply got to try the sweet potato and country ham biscuits!
