I have to say, I wasn’t impressed. The service was good, friendly and timely but the food was awful! Both me and my husband had burgers and one was their special bacon burger. They tasted burned and charred; we requested medium/rare. Probably one of the worst burgers I have ever had.

Surpassed Expectations!. I caught a movie this morning at the AMC 18 theater at Lynnhaven Mall and by the time it was over at 1:30pm I had a monster lunch time appetite. What do I see as I come out the door of the theater? Uno Chicago Grill. Uno’s has always been a hit and miss restaurant for me, but WTF, I was hungry for pizza, even after having it for dinner the night before. :)The lunch rush was over but there were still plenty of staff on hand to take care of us. Our server Kerri arrived at the table before the hostess had finished seating us, was extremely hospitable, took the drink orders, and was on her way.We settled on the ‘Numero Uno’ deep dish pizza. It’s basically what you call a supreme anywhere else. The toppings included pepperoni, onions, green peppers, sausage, fresh mushrooms and a sorta chunky tomato sauce all covered in mozzarella.I mentioned in the first paragraph that Uno’s has always been a hit and miss type of restaurant for me. Here’s why. About 50% of the time I have pizza there, the dough isn’t cooked all the way through on their deep dish pizzas. The other complaint I’ve almost always had about them is that they’re slow. When I say slow, I mean so bloody slow that frozen sap on a maple tree in the middle of the winter runs down the side of the tree faster than Uno’s can get food out of the kitchen.I’m happy to say that Uno’s surpassed all of my expectations this afternoon. We had the pizza on our table no more than 15 minutes after ordering it. The pie was cooked to perfection. The dough, especially in the center of the pizza was perfect. The toppings were plentiful and the fresh vegetables had the slightest crunch to them when chewing. It was the way it should always be and honestly it was probably the best meal I’ve ever had at an Uno’s in the last 10 years.Pros: Clean, Friendly Staff, Good Food, Fast Service, Attention to detail.Con’s: None.I’ll definitely return.

Not sure…. Have eaten here and been blown away with how good it was. Other times our service was awful and experience disappointing. Love deep dish pizza and these folks do it right so I give them a thumbs up, but training needs to be given to a few servers who are not happy and show it.
