Just as good, if not better than the Big Easy. All the great Abitas on draft, and even Dixie in the bottle, if you dare. The food is consistent, with the usual Cajun staples (red beans and rice/ gumbo/ jambalaya,/ muffaleta/ poboys,) plus some creative steaks, pastas and fish – all with a NOLA flair – all in quaint downtown Manassas.
Quick service Almost/as goo…. Quick serviceAlmost/as good as being in New Orleans. We had the jambalaya, fried crayfish, and gumboParking was easy
Tasty seafood gumbo and fried oyster po boy at good prices. A good lunch spot in Old! Manasass.
So good!. By FAR the best Cajun option in the area. Po boys were served on fresh, delicious bread and the seafood was clearly fresh before it was fried. Fantastic, fun atmosphere make this a good option for families and groups.
Laissez les bons temps rouler. This is another of Manassas’ hidden treasures. The food is as close to Louisiana as you will get in Virginia. Different size meals is a great option if you want to share meals family style or get a reasonable portion without taking doggy bags home. I got the excellent shrimp & grits tee and my wife got dirty rice tee. We sampled off each others’ plate and shared with my son. Her fried chicken on her tee ALMOST made me regret getting shrimp and grits. Our friends got red beans and rice tee and jambalaya beaucoup (they had to get a doggy bag for the jambalaya). We shared a fried okra appetizer which was very tasty. We also sared three desserts among the five of us. We will definitely be going back. We went right after lunch rush on saturday around 1:30 and were served very quickly with food. People complaining about service must be going during busy lunch or dinner service. Zero complaints from us and we are not forgiving diners.
Amazing! The blue crab and corn chowder was delicious. The service was friendly and accomidating. My only complaint would be the wait for food to come out. However, in the end, it was definitely worth it.
