Great all around sushi restaurant. Kumo has been my go-to place for sushi in Herndon. From the building where I work, there are at least half a dozen sushi restaurants close by. Kumo beats them all with a relaxing atmosphere, great decor and the best sushi in Herndon and Reston. I usually order a combination of nigiri and maki, but it was the first place I tried temaki and it was exceptional.Highly recommended.

The most amazing sushi experience I’ve ever had! The only bad thing about Kumo sushi is that it will ruin all other sushi. It’s so good, no other place will compare. I go every week, and the staff is so very friendly! The presentation is amazing. They will decorate the plate with sauce designs or crab avacado trees, and even a LED ice block. The taste is superb! And best yet, the prices are very fair and not that expensive. Well worth going to over and over again!
It’s pretty pricey, but it’s worth the money! Great service and food. The place is small, so going with a party bigger than 6 may not be advisable, but otherwise you get your money’s worth!
