This restaurant was Recommended by my colleagues when I was craving for Biryani. And so we walked in on a weekday for a late lunch. Just 2 tables occupied.Its a cozy no frills restaurant serving Biryani and other selected Indian dishes.We ordered the Gongura paneer Biryani which was from the special menu section and the goat Biryani.Both were served with a bowl or raita and Salan. Veg Biryani tasted good, goat Biryani was decent. Both were lacking in spice and could do with more masala.Quantity is enough for 1.5 persons so 2 Biryanis are actually enough for 3 people.Prices are okish – the 2 Biryanis cost us around $ 27.

Waste of time and money…never go to Biryani point. They used be another restaurant before this became biryani point and they had good buffet, so we landed up in this place for buffet on a weekend….there was no buffet…so we decided to order some dishes…the place now looks totally crappy…they have a dance floor (???) in the center of the dining area…wierd….the food was AWFUL!!! no taste no flavor …. we as a family decided never to return to this place…don’t go to this restuarant…moreover it is far from any hyderabadi style food
Good Biryani experience. I regularly visit Biryani Pointe as they have some of the best biryani in town. The other dishes are also good. This is a little bit on the expensive side but if the food is good I don’t mind paying the extra 15%.I would give it a 3-4 star rating for most of their dishes with the exception of Biryani which I am willing to give a 5 star rating. This Biryani is better than the original biryani that is sold in Hyderabad at Paradise Hotel which I believe provides the receipes to the local chain in US.
If you’ve been to Hyderabad, India and tasted their legendary biryani, you will be thrilled with Biryani Point. It is possibly the best biryani outside of Hyderabad.
