Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever had worse bbq. The server was nice and timely, but the best thing I had was root beer. Not even worth it in an emergency. Never going back. I have never been to a Red Hot and blue, but I think it is a chain. The quality of the food was poor, like nothing was made at the restaurant, but premade shipper in. The quality at chick-Fil-a is better, no joke!

Not enough time for me. I called with a last minute order and understood the frustration with that when transferred to the to go food order station. I started my order she then said NO NO stop I just need your first name I said o sorry it is DOUG. Then I informed her it was for a group and began to order she asked for sides and I said can I just combine all those in to group side at end and said just tell me them now. I said ok and told her could she please tell me where they were on the menu so that I could find them she told me that she would leave me with the menu so i COULD FIGURE IT OUT she had three people in front front of her and would deal with it when she came back. We are a local business on Sunrise Valley Drive about .2 miles away and order large lunches for meetings about three times a month most of the time 15 plus people but, after this experience I immeditally called Willard Road BBQ and will only be using them they helped me no problem and were happy to help me with the order. I am super sad to see this happen loved coming to red hot and blue all the way from when I used to in Fort Worth TX but, this person completely turned me off and put me in place so I guess I will stay there. Sorry
Red Hot & Blue. I was there with a bunch of old friends and we had a great dinner. All sort of items were ordered from the menu, from the traditional (ribs, pulled pork ,etc) to some of their newer selections. Everyone raved about their meals. (There weren’t many leftovers). Even though the place was pretty busy our service was quite good. We were pleased and thought we’d meet here again the next time we plan a get together. great atmosphere, too!
Ribs are fatty and lacking meat, a bit bland. Good coleslaw. Lackluster service. If the bill was half as much, it might be worth a return trip. I’ve eaten my weight in ribs in Memphis, and this place is a poor cousin at best.
BBQ. While doing business in Reston I stopped at the Red Hot and Blue in Herndon. The place was packed for lunch and I was inpressed at how fast our food came out. We ordered pulled pork platters and they arrived about 5 minites after we ordered. We were in and out in about 40 minutes. Sevice and the food were above par for a chain restaurant. We will return.
The happy hour special includes half off wings among other things.. You should def try it out, I’m glad I did.
