So Glad to Discover This Little Gem!. I don’t mind driving from P’burg to try a new restaurant, especially when it’s a good one. Thanks to Broad Appetit, I was familiar with a menu item prospect before I became familiar with the restaurant…the boudin balls.People, when I tell you that these little morsels are a rich, savory party in your mouth, believe it and make a beeline to try them yourselves! Make sure you get the housemade sweet pickles on the side…smh…a simple, yet ber delish winning combo. The head chef (josh? sorry…) is more than willing to chat about his processes and passion for creating an awesome dish…love that! I gotta give a shoutout to Chuck, my server, for knowing how to deliver impeccable service. Oh! And shoutout to the owner for turning me on to that WONDERFUL turtle soup…yes, turtle soup; and yes, you must try it.This place is well worth ANY drive, in my opinion, and certainly worth several more trips from the ‘Burg in the future.
Fantastic restaurant. First timer there for restaurant week for a party of 5. Waiter was fantastic and attentive, food was amazing as was the atmosphere. Great experience and will certainly be going back.
Wonderful service, amazing food, beautiful space. Tops, absolute tops!
Just awesome!. We visited Chez Foushee for the first time last week and were so impressed that we decided that we would take my mom there for Mother’s Day brunch. Yes folks, they are open for brunch now. I can’t believe how delicious this place is. Not only the food, but the service is impeccable. We felt like VIPs there on both visits. Anyway, my husband had the French toast and said it was the best he has ever had. I had a bite and I must concur. Mom and I both had the quiche and it was to die for. But, save room for desert! The lemon butter cake has got to be the best thing in Richmond. We will be back!
Best lunch I’ve had downtown in a while. If you haven’t tried it, you need to do so. Unique menu with lots of options. Attentive wait staff.
A little pricier than the average lunch but thoroughly enjoyable. Friendly and attentive staff and very good food. I’d definitely recommend saving room for their specialty lemon butter cake too.
Great!. Lunch is always great here! The wraps and sandwiches are perfect lunch fare!
