More Amour Please. I have now been to Amour three times and felt compelled to write a review. I have had the pleasure of enjoying brunch, lunch and dinner at Amour and all three meals were incredible. Most recently I had brunch that started with a mimosa which had delicious fresh squeezed orange juice. For my meal, I had the crab eggs benedict which had a fantastic hollandaise sauce. Brunch ended with a nuttella crepe with fresh crme. It was all amazing. The atmosphere in Amour can suit any experience you are looking to have. It is small and intimate for special occasions but also has a fully stocked and fun bar for happy hours. The owner Paul is so friendly and knowledgeable about French cuisine and will undoubtedly stop by your table to say hello. I highly recommend Amour.

This restaurant is absolutely perfect ! I can never get enough of this place .. I had never had a bad meal or service ! I’m actually glad that is small and undescovered buy many… I absolutely love it !
Great fresh food & excellent service. We wanted to take foodie friend, visiting from San Francisco, to a top-notch restaurant for lunch. Someone recommended Amour & we enjoyed every bite. Soup, salad, chocolate creme brle, rockfish, asparagus–perfectly cooked. I did not know Richmond had such an excellent eatery. Reasonable prices, too!
Truly one of the great meals I have had here in Richmond. The pre-fixed menu, an option, was superb and we upgraded the wine flights for a wonderful dining and pairing experience.
A Perfect Evening. Tasty combinations of food and wine. Unpretentious atmosphere. Great small venue for a quiet, intimate dinner and enjoy a glass of wine. Loved everything I ate, but the chocolate creme brulee was incredible. I recommend Amour for those interested in learning more about wine and the wine experts. Hope to see Richmonders grasp the concept of a pre-fixed menu and how it is a blessing.
Lovely, every time. Hubby and I are regulars at Amour. We love it: dinner, brunch, bar flying; a meal at Amour always transport us back to our Paris visit (without the cost of plane tickets!).From the very first visit, we were impressed by the subtle service, on-the-mark wine pairing, well-executed cuisine (only once, a dish of potato gratin was disappointingly under seasoned), and proper serving sizes. Amour fits every occasions for us: impromptu dinner, a night out with friends and oenophiles, special occasions, business dinner, a leisurely brunch, or end of a long day (sit at the bar and get the Alsation onion tart!)Amour is unique, you have to trust the crew to guide you thru the courses and the wines. Sit back, slow down, and enjoy life, one bite at a time.
