Horrible customer service but good flavor. I spent quite a bit of time and money for a personalized cake topper to add a personal touch to our reception….made the decision to leave my cake topper in his bakery during my wedding and reception due to a comment from the florist. Following the wedding, I called…to discuss the issues with my cake and cake topper. I was astonished at the horrendous level of customer service that I have received… refuses to acknowledge any wrongdoing with my cake and instead provides excuses that place blame on the florist. I do not like the way he has handled the situation following my wedding. I do not agree with the way he has spoken to me or conducted himself. He quite literally told me that he made the decision to leave the topper at the bakery because he did not want to bother me with a call before the wedding. That was not his decision to make. At the very least he could’ve brought the topper to the venue so the issue could quickly be fixed, but he didn’t. His decision took away a special piece of my reception away from me. I can never get that moment back, and there is no way to re-purpose a cake topper that was not even at my wedding. However, …does not seem to care nor show compassion for the affect of his decisions. Proceed with caution when looking at Cakes by Graham, and NEVER take your cake topper there before the wedding.

Everything about planning my wedding has been a nightmare and this was, by far, the easiest thing I have done so far. I went into this meeting extremely nervous due to negative online reviews and let me just say that this was NOT my experience. Everyone was pleasant from Graham to the receptionist. I couldn’t be more happy. To top it off I came in UNDER budget with my wedding cake. Let me just say this…I am a stickler for customer service and this was a GREAT experience!
Terrible Experience. I decided not to go with Cakes by Graham, in which I was willingly giving up my deposit with him. When I went to his store to obtain the picture of a wedding cake that I had from a magazine and the color swatch that I provided him with, he refused to give these items back to me. Very unprofessional, and would not recommend him to anyone. There are enough things to worry about with a wedding, and a vendor like this is not someone you want to deal with.
Wonderful Cakes!. I have ordered twice from Cakes By Graham and have been very impressed both times! One was an Easter cake and another one was a Baby Shower cake with a traveling theme. His cakes are not only delicious, but VERY reasonable. I worked with his assistant and found her to be very helpful. If you’re ordering for a holiday, call early or he will be booked- which in my opinion is a good sign in itself!
Graham’s cakes look and taste great!. I have ordered 4 cakes from Graham so far (Star Wars cake, Fairy cake, Angry Birds cake, and a fall-theme cake)since discovering Cakes By Graham 2 years ago. They were complete perfection. The detail on his cakes is amazing and the cakes are the best I’ve ever tasted. His prices are completely reasonable, too. I am so happy he is in Richmond!
So far so good. I saw Cakes By Graham at the wedding expo and was very surprose as to his knowledge, taste and carisma towards all brides and this compare to the other vendors. i don’t want a wedding cake just for how much money I can save but for what I get for what I pay. Other vendors at the wedding expo where just not that polish and attentive. Will let you know about my appointment and development.
