Kind of a hippie spot. Definitely a pub atmosphere too. Had the Farmers breakfast – it was a pretty standard breakfast. Eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and toast. Nothing extraordinary but good. Also had the buffalo chicken wrap. Boyfriend eloquently described it as dank. He loved it. Not really a family atmosphere.
Ok food for Ok price. My bf and I went here for lunch today. The food was alright. Of course I have had better but I have had worse too. We both got the barnyard brawl. The sandwich was huge. I couldn’t eat it all. The band playing there wasn’t that bad either. At least we got some sort or free entertaining out of it too.
Even Jerry Would Have Gotten a Simple Order Right…. My girlfriend ordered three very simple things for delivery, after they placed their menu on our front door. It took two more phone calls and nearly 2 full hours before our food arrived. Cary St. Cafe isn’t even two blocks away from us!!Got the food – not bad, definitely not great – and they still managed to screw up the order. Instead of her chili we got soggy nachos. Cary St. Cafe: you’re fired!
Good veggie dishes. Veggie chili bake is first rate; black bean wrap very tasty.
