Very tasty food. Every dish taste different not like other places where dishes have different name but have same taste. Staff is really nice. Try it for the taste.

Incredible, albeit not cheap. Even in spite of the cost, this one of the few restaurants in Richmond that I frequent on a nearly weekly basis.

This was an absolutely amazing dining experience. The chef is a master of sauces with a creamy Chiken Tika Masala. The soup called Parsnip Bisque was out of this world. A definite 5 star rating from us. Sue and Margaret. Dined Tuesday 04-23-14 @ 7:30 pm.

Mmmmmm. Front of house staff are terrible….be prepared to wait….the curry is good but the meat in the food is like shoe leather and when not good they still charge you

The surprise appetizer was a symphony of flavors. Prawns with curry and spicy chicken marsala were both amazing! Perfect nan and aromatic rice to balance heat. Almond-pistachio-mango ice cream was over the top good. RVA is for foodies!

Good food, terrible service. I’m avoiding giving this place a thumbs up or down because I honestly can’t decide. I came here with a few friends on a Friday night a couple of weeks ago around 8pm. We got there at the tail end of the dinner rush as tables were starting to clear for the night. We had to wait a few minutes for a table to be cleaned and then were seated. Our drink orders were promptly taken, but that’s pretty much when the service stopped. Our waiter came by once during the whole stay to refill our water glasses. He never asked if we wanted refills on our other drinks. We waited for over an hour for our food to come out. I don’t know what was going on in the kitchen, but our waiter was definitely not busy–most of the time just standing behind the bar. A real shame as I would have tipped him better for just coming to fill up glasses once in a while..The food was great. Between the four of us, we had two spicy lamb dishes (sadly I can’t remember the names of either) and two tikka dishes–one chicken and one paneer. All of them were excellent and not lacking in the protein component (this is my one criticism of the highly acclaimed Lehja out in short pump). The naan orders could have been a little more generous, but they were also good.I can usually overlook mediocre service when the food is good, but I also hate to wait when I’m hungry…Lemon on W. Broad is pretty comparable, cheaper, and definitely faster. It may not have the Carytown vibe, but I think I’d sooner go there then wait at Curry Craft.

A must try if you are a fan of Ethnic, Fusion, or just great food in general. Chef Mel Oza is the master of Anglo-Indian cuisine. You’ll see him at tables as much as he’s in the kitchen. Very personable, feel free to ask him for a recommendation or even to surprise you with something that isn’t. An unique and interesting wine and craft mix drink selection as well. Cheers!
