Recommend. Had dinner with three others, great service and food was excellent and as ordered. Older crowd, looked like regulars. Friendly staff and owner greeted diners and everyone was attentive. Menu is diversified with plenty of options. Would recommend.

Always packed with well-dressed regulars. I ate at Pegasus tonight with my wife and must say that it was very impressive. The decor is circa 1974 (looks like someplace Henry Hill would eat in Goodfellas), the average age is 83, but the food always kills it. My wife had soft shells that were off the chart good, and I had the trusty lamp shank, which was fall-off-the-bone awesome and accompanied with homemade pasta. I give it a solid 9.

Food done well. The menu is not fusion, the decor is warm but not exotic. What we have discovered is that you can count on is a great confidently and competently prepared meal, not exorbitant prices and good service. Yes the clientele is a bit conservative but it is not stuffy. I looked at every restaurant east of Three Chopt for a fun Sat night dinner with eight people and decided we could all find something good at Pegasus without a wait. From the grilled lamb chops, to the veal marsala to the chicken we cleaned off every plate. On a previous visit I had the Greek pasta and it was not a cheese covered glob but rather an intensely flavorful dish with yummy taste of caramelized onions, tomatoes and other spices (deceptively plain looking upon first glance). House dressing on side salad was tangy, bread was fine and desserts ok. It was good knowing we weren’t tossing out good $ for a so-so unpredictable meal in a trendy place with a long wait. We could hear each other talk. New places are great too but we have discovered the delicious consistency here and will be back often. This was our second visit in a month as we could not wait to enjoy the veal again.

Limited menu but well executed. The interior is a bit weird (I think it’s from before I was born), for some reason 90% of the customers are senior citizens, and I often wonder why there aren’t more typical Greek dishes like pastitsio or moussaka on their menu. However, despite these quirks the food here is excellent and features many mediterranean classics. I usually get one of the chicken, veal, or lamb dishes. They always use high quality ingredients and the dishes are prepared skillfully. The veal is not chewy or grisly like it often is at other restaurants, and this is one of the few places I am willing to order chicken–at many places I end up with something I could have cooked better myself. The bread is freshly baked. Most entrees come with a small salad and you can get a Caesar (real Caesar, not fake) for no extra charge. The only thing I haven’t been impressed by was the dessert category. I once ordered creme brulee, and the sugar on top was still gritty and the custard was too sweet for me.
