Pretty good, for bar food.. Good burgers and a nice hummus plate. Brunch is also good, lots of different variations of eggs benedict to choose from. The best part is that it’s super cheap!
Not a Lot of Good…. Not a lot of good things to say about this place, unfortunately. The first time I visited Star-Lite the experience was horrendous, so I waited a few months before venturing back thinking that first time had to be a fluke. Wrong! The same sllllooooow, surly, inattentive service (30 minutes for a milk shake!), boring (often cold) food.Waaaay better options less than 200 feet away. Won’t be back to Star-Lite.
Disorganized place I have been. Some friends and I came here for brunch 1 day. Well we showed up, all the tables were taken. So we knew we had to wait a little bit for a booth since there were 4 of us. While waiting near the bar near the waitress station so they know we’re here, a table got clear, and they sat another group that came after us. I’m so not liking that. Anyways we finally got a chance to sit down. Then a large group that had a reservation for the restaurant showed up for the large table plus more. Since we were sitting in the back by the large table, We were asked to move so that party can sit together. I was not happy at all about that. With everything being so disorganized, I doubt that I will be coming back.
One of my favorite brunch spots. Great drink specials and the bennies are awesome.
This is a bar. The tediously long and complex menu is a sign: don’t expect the food to be good. This place is a bar.
Consistently Good. Star-Lite is a favorite lunch spot because the food is consistently good. The burgers and Caesar salad with shrimp are both excellent.
