Out of this world. Last night I think I had the best dinner I have ever eaten. Everything was fantastic. The fried oyster appetizer was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I would have ordered a second one but didnt want to fill up before my entre. I had the meatloaf which I have never ordered before but the description sounded like it would be just right on a cold night. It was fantastic! Hubby had the shrimp and scallops which I got to sample and they were just as fantastic. I cant believe I have lived in Richmond all my life and this was the first time I have been there. But, it will not be my last! They better get used to seeing us, and next time we are bringing friends.

Pretty tasty. The appetizer was really yummy. We had the dueling shrimp special. Also got the soft shell crab. The couscous was a little more cooked than I like mine. The sauce on the crab was AMAZING. I had the seared scallops & the sauce on mine was way too vinegary 🙁 Each chef has a homemade bread that they make. Ours was an Italian herb. Lots of flavor and very dense. Awesome atmosphere and great location. Our waitress was one of the best I have had in a long time. Unfortunately, I can’t remember her name. Overall, we had a good experience and enjoyed dinner. I would go back for the waitress and the ambience. The food is okay for the price, but I expect exceptional when I pay more than $20/plate.
Amazing and creative menu. What a nice touch to be greeted by the owner and have him genuinely appreciative that we dined there tonight. We will be back!!!
I have had both dinner and brunch at Zeus and it is an absolute delight! Everything is so flavorful and the staff always knows what to recommend. The atmosphere is my favorite in Richmond! I highly recommend this restaurant for any meal!
Great Museum District Restaurant. In the past year I have been to Zeus on several occasions. Whether it is for Easter brunch with the family, dinner out with friends or hosting vendors from work, the food and service have been outstanding.The atmosphere is great with two dining rooms and the chalkboard menus. The wine list is excellent and the food superb. I recommend the fried oysters, arugula salad, meatloaf and veal meatballs. Sunday brunch is also fantastic.Zeus is my favorite fan area restaurant. If you are in town for a day or a long-time resident, this is a great restaurant.
This has been a favorite of mine for a long time. Quirky menu, quirky art…just a unique and fun place to go for GREAT food. Cheap-nope. Always good, friendly & worth the trip – YES!
