Pretty good for a family neighborhood spot. Our family likes this neighborhood spot, good for families, never too busy and the wait staff is attentive. We usually go for the Sushi Boat … their white tuna sashimi is amazing, competing with places we’ve eaten at in Japan. For $42 two people can stuff themselves with the sushi boat, its alot of food. There are good choices for kids. One plus to this place over the other places on the 23rd Street block is their 3 parking spots right next to Cesar’s Diner. We occasionally eat at Matsutake down the street, but that place is nowhere near as good as Bonsai Grill.
