Freddie’s has been one of my favorite bars since I started hitting up the NOVA scene in 2012. I tend to go on Karaoke nights, because the vibe seems a bit friendlier then. The food is average but the drinks are on point. If you’re looking for a bar with lots of character where the patrons are friendly – the Freddie’s is your place.I usually side with the rail drinks, it’s always a safe bet and you won’t have to wait long for it – if you’re lucky they’ll top it off with a fishy friend.

Calamari appetizer is awesome – highly recommend and the fish tacos were good. You can tell they don’t use old oil for frying. I would.have stayed for bingo but was super tired even though I was tempted : ) Good and happy feeling when I walked through the door – I like that above anything else. Try it

We loved the bourbon bread pudding! It was perfection in a bowl. We enjoyed the restaurant/bar.

No place like Freddies. Yeah, the wait staff is casual, but there’s no place like Freddies. Good food, welcoming atmosphere, karaoke.
Freddy is a great guy ,nice as a cats meow, choice for cooks SUCKS badly though,the FOOD has gone DOWN HILL, But since it’s loaded with a bunch of premadonnas for STAFF ,WHO CARE MORE FOR CITY PAPER AWARDS? BEST BAR TENDER;KIMMER?,,,, YEAH-RIGHT,,NOT EVEN IN ARLINGTON,BABY !!!! Guess poor Freddy has to make do given the best BARTENDERS & STAFF ARE MAKING THE SERIOUS BUCKS OVER IN DC!!! Freddy I’d work for you for free, and as CRUDDY AS YOUR STAFF ARE; THEY SHOULD TOO! They’ve been bleeding you & killing your business for years! Love you Freddy!!!!
