Just one visit and I am hooked! I ordered the Taverna platter for $16 which has a choice of meat, salad, humus, and rice. Just delicious. The humus was smooth and creamy. And the interior of the restaurant is beautiful. Looking forward to returning.

Truly delicious. Love Mediterranean food but this is like someone invited you into their home and grandma’s best dishes are being served. Lots of choices but pick two things you want and ask your server you he or she prefers, go with their suggestion and you will not be disappointed. Some of the best food I have ever had. Five stars!

stopped here for the Zaatar Manaqeesh they have during the happy hours. I literally just wanted the Manaqeesh, and ordered it to go, but they don’t let you do that; which I think is a bit weird. Anyhow, so my husband and I just ended up with the dine-in option and it was totally worth it.The…

A good evening. We invited out of town guests to join us for dinner at the Lebanese Taverna. I didn’t know at the time my friend not only loved Lebanese food, she had even taught a class on it!She enjoyed the food! We all did. It was a Friday night so I was glad we had reservations. It was a bit noisey. And, when I called for more specific directions ( my gps led to Bonefish ), I was asked if I had reservations since they were so busy. Our waiter was attentive, but not intrusive. And when we showed him my husband’s military ID, not only did we get the discount, but a lovely thank you for his service.

This Taverna Deserves Frequent Visits!. As it is very hard for my wife and I to identify our favorite food, having palates for the diversity the Washington DC Region has to offer in cuisine what we do like to do is compare and categorize the local ethnic eateries, with the final outcome being whether it is favored enough to provoke our return to that establishment. Lebanese Taverna is one of those return to places weve found. Although for the diehard Lebanese/Mediterranean food buff, this may not be the best place it does fair well in its presentation, quality and taste. Whereas its presentation and attention to the service detail is lacking, both the prices and quality of the offering are worth returning. The two primary negatives we found was first and foremost, it was extremely noisy! So much so, that the waiter repeatedly asked us what we had said! Secondly, this din accentuates the potential for getting the orders wrong, as was the case with us. But, after such experience, we were pleased with the dishes we sampled. The lentil soup was very, very good. The Taverna Salad was fresh, crisp and the ingredients well proportioned and tasty. Although the main course my wife had was less than excellent, my Bouillabaisse was fantastic made of a tomato, mahi-mahi, shrimp, calamari and orange zest base. As you may know, being a Bouillabaisse lover, I have created a Yelp List just for the quest to find the best. Although not a traditional Bouillabaisse, but an excellent take on the the fish/seafood stew! We also tried a take on a Martini which was very good interesting to say the lease. It was the Fairouz 9 a concoction of vodka, Chambourd, Grand Marnier and a sour mix. Despite the noise, because of the excellent prices and quality of the food, this is most definitely a place to return… only during less busy and noisy hours. Bon Apptit from Gstro Eclctico!

Thursday night and it is hopping, but no problem, great service, excellent food, fird brizas to start and lamb shank for entre. This is one great restaurant and if I ever get back to Arlington then I will be back as there are so many other things on the menu that sound great and I want to try.
