It’s a pretty decent place if you are staying in the hotel and don’t want to go anywhere. Good specials under $10 and good selection of drinks. That said don’t have high expectations on service. In the end think the focus is on being a lounge versus a restaurant.
Terrible service. Did I say terrible? 2 plates sent back, extremely overcooked and cold, lazy waitstaff, terrible management, takes 30 minutes to get a drink refil, while waiting over an hour to get our food. If you’re staying at the The Crown Plaza Hotel, save yourself a headache and waste of money, ORDER A PIZZA, it will be better, hotter, and cost a lot less.
Friendly service to vets with an extended happy hour. Drinks are reasonably priced for the DC area, but lacks an outside appeal to residents and therefore any sort of life. Because it is a military service hotel has a very diverse and unique climate with so many service members here for different reasons. Try it if a vet; if not, don’t stress about missing out.
The service was unacceptable. We waited awhile before being served and we were rarely checked on during the evening. The food was good, but nothing special.
