This place is more upscale than your average Vietnamese restaurant in terms of customer service, presentation, fresh ingredients, quality and restaurant cleanliness. The slices of beef in the pho tai was excellent and arrived still slightly red (fresh) like tradition dictates. The garden rolls (aka summer roll) was a fine example of balance between the shrimp, pork, noodles, greens, and noodles wrapped in rice paper. Prices are slightly higher than you would find at the Eden Center but you are paying for overall better quality.
Great vegetable pho with veg broth, noodles, tofu, and lots of fresh vegetables.
Loved it. Was there for lunch and had spring rolls followed by a Vietnamese version of pad thai…both were excellent. My colleague had the curry chicken and was equally impressed. Service was quick and attentive, definitely coming back.
I was introduced to vietnamise pho – soup about 5 years ago at a place in college park maryland which recieved several awards for their outstanding soup and prices. I was hooked and went as often as possible which was a lot since I worked locally. As i now work in Crystal City, I found Saigon Saigon while looking for a place that serves Pho. They served small and large bowls to which I ordered a small which was more than enough. No rare option on the menu, however the pho was flavorful and good. Price was not bad at $10 for a small bowl and the servers were very attentive refilling my H20 serveral times as needed.
I love this place! Good service and delicious garden rolls and vermicelli dishes make it worth a try…and the Pho is amazing as well. My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the DC area!
Great food (Saigon Grill) good portions, attentive staff
The chicken Penang rocks….
