I am from Montana and this was a sad experience. Makers Mark Manhattan. – weak drink you can see through it! I asked for a shot of Makers Mark to add and the waitress said she would have the bar tender fix the drink. Did not happen. Disappointing. Now dinner. We’ll see. Fingers crossed. Dinner arrived. Bison ribs have a lot of flavor, nice gravy but cold. Carrots crisp, mashed potatoes not hot not cold. Could be so much better. Left the drink. Ate the dinner. Service was good table was great. Ok waitress was exceptional. She took the drink off the ticket. Bad bar but great waitress!!! Thank you Samantha!
Short wait, excellent service. Absolutely fabulous filet cooked to perfection (medium rare). Tasty sides. And right next to a Cold Stone Creamery. What more could one ask for?
When I ordered my grilled chicken salad I told the waiter that I have a food allergy to pork and bacon. I asked that the chicken be cooked in contaminated by the bacon that is prevalent on their menu. When the salad arrived after a few forks full I noticed that it had bacon a layer of bacon crumbles. I returned the salad. The waiter had put the allergy on the ticket. The kitchen was slammed and no one read it. I got apologies from the waiter and manager. I caught their error because I am always suspicious of food from a new kitchen. I did not have a reaction to the amount I did eat. Others with food allergies may not have been so lucky.This is a preventable error by the establishment having an escalation procedure of notification when a customer reports a food allergy to the staff. More importantly the procedure must be followed regardless of how busy the kitchen is. It is a manager’s responsibility to establish and enforce procedures. In this case it was the manager while helping the kitchen that actually made the salad. It is a classic rookie mistake for a manager to think that performing line duties in rush times actually helps. Managers should manage not be making salads without reading the ticket.
Long wait!!!! When we entered our name for a table we were told 45 min. An hour later we were told 5 more minutes. After finally getting a table we waited over 40 minutes for our food. Our salad came out with several ingredients missing and dressing all over even though we ordered it on the side. We had to to order water for the table from another server since ours never offered any. The upside is that the food, when it finally came, was really good!
Consistently good steaks, had the bison strip steak and it was very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Bison is leaner than beef so it was more consistent with a filet than the traditional beef strip steak. Muy Bueno!Staff was friendly and attentive, and the sangria rocks. Always a good call if you are in Crystal City.
Service was great, we got a table got a group of 8 without reservation and only 10 minutes waiting time.My Bison steak was perfectly cooked, rare. Fries were a little overdone & the broccoli with Parmesan a little bland.
This place rocked it tonight! Steaks were great! Drinks were great! Desert great. Nothing bad to say. My 11 yo had the sliders and they were also quite nice.
