This restaurant was recommended by our hotel when we asked for a good Italian food restaurant in the area. Disappointing for sure. Upon arrival at 8pm on a Saturday they did not appear very busy but we still waited 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were there. The house chardonnay was not very tasty. The salads were simple and average. The lasagna was bland and there was extra water on plate. The pollo Portofino included veggies which tasted like they had been frozen. The chicken was tender but bland. Again, the spinach stuffing tasted like it was previously frozen. Overall, a disappointment and I would not return.
Delicious Italian food in comfortable, friendly atmosphere. My husband and I loved our meal. The staff was very welcoming. We will be back again soon. Limoncello dessert was delicious!
Delicious traditional Italian food in a quiet and timeless classy setting. Treated like family, friendly and professional staff, plenty of free parking in back and ideal for special group dinners
Very good food…not the atmosphere. I have ate here twice. Both times the food has been very good. Great place for Italian seafood or lamb. Decor is kinda…like your old Italian grandma decorated the place. Dark lighting…not romantic, just dark. But the food is worth it and the prices are very reasonable.

Incredible place to eat! Authentic, great tasting food with a warm inviting atmosphere. I definitely recommend stopping in if you are in the DC area. A short walk from the Crystal City Metro stop.
