Not much to look at, and maybe not a first-choice for a date, but damn if this isn’t the best BBQ in Virginia Beach. Maybe in all of Hampton Roads
Good bbq considering its at a gas station. You can get in and out for a quick lunch.
After all the reviews I had to come and try it. The BBQ is presented nicely and I enjoyed the long stringy texture of the meat. I ordered the Boss Hog sandwhich which was the biggest on the menu. Hmmm…not today it wasn’t. I expected a lot more meat compared to what I usually get from others. The side item of Mac and Cheese tasted great but was gone in 3 bites, very small serving. The BBQ itself was OKAY. I did not like the peppery flavoring of the meat. I hardly tasted any bbq sauce at all and almost no type of vinegar added. All in all it was decent but Whitners is still my favorite hands down.
BEST BBQ AROUND. If you have not tried Malbon Bros BBQ you are missing out! This is the best BBQ I have ever had. Order the Boss Hog with slaw! Simply finger lickin’ good.
