If looking for a moxie or milestones type place this is it! Good service good food and gluten free choices. Because of dietary issues allowed changes to dishes. Better than anything at Virginia beach and not that far.
I had the 24 steak with no taste, coleslaw was rough.
Yum!. It’d It’s a pricey little spot but they have a great beer selection. The foods pretty good too! Now that they’ve been open for a bit the wait staff is better. The first time I went my mom’s food was last to come out and cold.. For a 25 or so dollar steak that’s unacceptable. Being the last to finish eating is always award so our first trip was subpar. The second trip was much better! Food was great came out in a decent time!
Had the fish and chips, very happy! Started with the cauliflower buffalo bites, and a carnivore pizza very good! Service was attentive, draft beer list was extraordinary, and my after dinner whiskey as good as it could be. A great evening! Service was very attentive too! Great dining experience.
Horrible Service. Food was so-so. Horrible pizzas. Looked like a frozen pizza, and the barbeque sauce was far too sweet for a savory meal. More than anything, however, was the awful service. The servers spent more time talking amongst themselves than providing service. I had an empty beer for almost 30 minutes (sitting at the bar!). Many of my friends were excited by the local and craft beers, but will not go back because of the poor customer service and declining food quality. Word is spreading throughout the community that this is NOT the place to eat.
Gave this place a try – what a waste! Seen other reviews where they are raving – really? My experience bordered on the comical. Our server seemed to be working through some short-term memory loss issues – we had to ask for everything at least twice. Food portions might as well all come from the kid’s menu. I had the ‘Rooster Burger’ – they forgot the cheese and the other toppings could all fit comfortably within a tablespoon. My wife had the ‘Tuna Burger’ which is listed on the menu as ‘bronzed’ – boiled is more like it. At least the beer was good!
No service. Cannot rate the food but the servers are more concerned about their plans then taking care of customers. Left after 20 mins. Was going to try it once more but I’ve heard similar complaints so I’ll just wait until the next restaurant takes over.
