Tastes like home! The deep dish takes me right back to Chicago. The gyro was authentic and delicious as well. If you know Chicago pizza, this is it. If you don’t, you will learn.
Best pizza in the area. I’ve tried both the deep dish and the traditional. I’m not a big deep dish guy, so the traditional was more to my liking, but the deep dish was delicious as well. This place is instantly my new favorite pizza in the area. The service was friendly and the price was in line with what I expected to pay. An overall excellent experience.
Windy City was recommended to me recently. Went today. Have the deep dish pizza with sausage, pepperoni, and onions. The pizza was exceptional. We also ordered the 5 wing appetizer which was excellent also. WE WILL RETURN again soon!
Pizza. Deep dish
Excellent!. Such a great thing when a place of business opens in your area and it’s outstanding. Been here four times already. Deep dish is so tasty, flavorful sauce and there has to be 2lbs of cheese on their pies! We are lucky to have some solid pizza places in this area and Windy City just may lay claim as the best with their deep dish.Meatball sub was good, although I’ll always prefer my own. Appetizers were on point.Do visit this wonderful establishment and support small business that does it right.
Delicious and great service. Pizza is delicious, server was very sweet and attentive. We got the traditional crust and it came pretty quickly. Will go again.
Best. Ever.. This has to be my favorite pizza place in Hampton Roads. The food is just astounding. After plenty of visits, I can give a great description of their food choices. The deep dish is authentic as are the co-owners. It’s about 2.5 inches high and 1 ft across. There’s 1.5 POUNDS OF CHEESE. If that doesn’t get you filled up, I don’t know what does. The sauce is on top so grab a napkin :)The traditional and thin crust pizzas are available in medium and large (the large seems larger than most pizza places) and the toppings are cooked under the cheese. This helps provide a depth of flavor. Their specialty pizzas are named after streets in Chicago. I, personally find the Pulaski (a meat lover pizza) the best. The Italian beef sandwiches come straight from the Windy City. The beef is so delicious and the sauce they pour over it is simply fantastic (I opted out on the peppers). I also appreciate their reference to Coach Ditka. They named a sandwich after him. It has an Italian sausage topped with the Italian beef and then some peppers with sauce poured on it. For every beef sandwich you get, you also get extra sauce on the side. The appetizers are to die for. Especially the shrimp and crab dip with pita chips. Next in line are the sausage bombs. They’re tossed in hot sauce and taste great. Have you ever tried the cheesy garlic bread? If not, you should. Ask for some marinara, the flavor is enhanced tenfold. They have spaghetti dinners soon served with garlic bread and delicious desserts that will blow you away. I won’t say much more, so come on down and try some stuff yourself. You won’t be disappointed. If you can’t drive, call them. They deliver!6 out 5 stars, totally would recommend to any family.
