It was okay but not special. It was notable as a place the local Republican Party met. I understand it is now closed permanently but I have not confirmed that. It is definitely closed at this time and has been for a couple of weeks.
I’ve visited this place for the ice cream bar only. This particular day I wanted to try the food. The food tasted like it was from the freezer. The chicken was dry and the corn was not seasoned. I will never be back
Loved the trains around the ceiling and the down-home breakfast. REally nice prices for the senior meals, too. Love the ice cream parlor on the side and the friendly wait staff. Only biscuits were a bit doughy and gravy gummy but all else fine.
