Solid food. Im not sure who doesn’t like this place, but it’s truly a hidden gem. It has good-tasting, fresh food at a decent price. It’s the antithesis of these Chinese takeout places that give you substandard food made with no flair. You can taste the care and freshness of this food. It’s a bit of a no-frills place, but still a step up from most Chinese takeout places. This I exactly the kin of place I’ve been looking for in order to get a delicious, reasonably priced. Kudos to the owners, I’ll be back to try the ramen on Sunday.

Talk about fresh!. I first tried Chin’s about a week ago and I’ve been back like four times. The food is so fresh you’ll leave wondering if they have a secret produce department in the back. They make everything from scratch unlike the fast food Chinese places you’ll find in the rest of Norfolk. Everything I’ve had there has been really flavorful and in portions that could choke a herd of Wooly Mammoths. The best part is the prices. I’m a 250 lb guy who doesn’t typically leave food on his plate but for about 6 dollars I’ve always left this place on a stretcher begging for more morphine please. If you haven’t tried this place, just go not expecting a buffet and you’ll be happy. If you have tried it, you’re probably not reading this because you’re already back banging on the window at 2 A.M. begging for another egg roll.

Fantastic. I just stopped in for their Sundays-only restaurant-within-a-restaurant, Norfolk Ramen. It was fantastic. This clearly isn’t one of those places that just throws together a menu of general tso’s chicken and peppersteak and calls it a day. The ramen was delicious and had a delicious harmony of ingredients. I had the Norfolk Bowl and the sous vide egg floating in the bowl was like the cherry on top of the whole thing. The food was great and the staff were very friendly!

More chins than…… Chinese food the way it was before the buffet invasion. Our experience at Chin’s transported my wife and I back to a time when you could still get good sit down Chinese in Norfolk. I heartily recommend Chin’s!

I really liked it, it’s a small place operated by husband and wife, I don’t think they get much business, I usually see them just sitting in the dining area watching television. My girlfriend had the sweet and sour chicken and pork fried rice, she said it was excellent! I had the general Tso’s chicken and vegetable lomien and it too was excellent. It was also fairly cheap concidering other comparable chinese cuisin places! All in all I would definitely recommend this place.

This is by far the WORST Chinese food I have EVER had in my life. This was not normal Chinese food. The sweet and sour chicken was burnt. I called and let the lady know and she hung up on me. So along with discusting food customer service SUCKS……..
