  Negative TOO! I have visited Chow several times in the past and my boyfriend and I chose it for Valentine’s Day 2017. Big disappointment with the food and service. And more disappointment from someone I spoke to on the phone, who claimed they were the General Manager and Owner, Megan. So, we ordered our food and the appetizers and the meal all came at once. Then once my boyfriend started eating the chicken livers, they were raw. He sent them back and the new chicken livers were raw too. Then my meal was cold, the mac and cheese, and the bbq. They supposedly rewarmed it and it was still cold. Then the cornbread was hard and burnt. I ordered a side order of fries that were very salty and then the new order of fries were hard and overcooked. The appetizer and fries were taken off but no other incentive was offered for the major inconvenience we experienced. After the experience, I called and reported it to the General Manager about my experience and she was rude, disrespectful, nasty and unprofessional to me. I explained to her what happened and told her it was unacceptable and she said my people this or that, she did not believe what I was telling her. Then she spoke over me and did not let me finish telling her what I had to say. She was totally out of line to speak to a patron who keeps her in business in this caliber. I will not longer go to this establishment or recommend it to anyone! Everyone who can own a business should not if they have an attitude and demeanor like this General Manager. She kept asking what it is that you want, she did not get it, I did not want anything but for her to acknowledge the issues that her restaurant has and say I will try to improve the issues you are bringing to my attention. Instead of being rude and nasty, a manager should listen and be able to take constructive criticism. We will no longer support this establishment.

  Had high hopes for this place; unfortunately I was let down. The food was very bland; if you want southern food in the area Harper’s Table is way better!

  Huge disappointment, won’t be back.. My mom, visiting from the NW, wanted some legit Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy and we read the reviews on Chow and chose to go there. Our Fried Chicken was lukewarm and practically tasteless. We immediately had to send back her mashed potatoes and gravy, my Mac & Cheese, because they weren’t hot at all, and my husband’s whole Red beans/rice with chicken & sausage. It was cold on one side/lukewarm on the other. Waitress said they were making a whole new dish. It was worse and colder than the 1rst one. Inedible. He ordered some fries which came as the rest of us were finishing our meals. My son liked his cheeseburger, but that was about it. The waitress didn’t charge us for the rice & beans, nor would we have paid for it since he didn’t eat it, nor did she offer any other incentive to return. So we won’t.
