Save your time and boil a few hot dogs for hours at home.
YUM. Great place to grab lunch.. I do wish they had fries or onion rings.. something on the side besides chips. But can’t beat the chilli dog.
Doug’s is a great spot for lunch! Simple & delicious! The staff make you feel welcome, and part of the family. I’ve been coming here for years and don’t have 1 complaint!
Mediocre at best. I have dined at doug’s 4 times with my family. Its tiny but never crowded, the staff are usually unfriendly and impatient. The hotdogs are equal to the quality you can produce at home. A plain dog is $1.99. The first time I ate there the place reiked of bleach, including the plates we ate off of. On our last visit, the blonde server asked my husband what kind of hotdog he wanted beef or the other kind..he asked her what was the other choice and she got and attitude(wow) We had our one year old with us, she never asked if we wanted to order for him, another couple came in with a baby about the same age and she offered free crackers for their baby ( favoritism)? btw their famous chili is merely plain ground beef that’s been cooked to death, no spices noted
Just cook your own Oscar Mayer. I had a basic hot dog. It was on the quality level of an Oscar Mayer. I can’t remember if they advertised Boar’s Head or something like that, but whatever they’re using, it’s of tremendously low quality. I have enjoyed microwaved hot dogs at home more.
Gross. I just ate there for the first time, had the Kraut dog and my son had the fire dog. Both were terrible, the kraut must have been sitting there all day, I couldn’t even finish mine. Sorry but ya’ll need to clean that place up and not let the stuff sit around so long. I hope I don’t get sick
