NOT CLEAN. I have been in Greenies a few times and its dirty every time. The food is ok at best and the service on the back deck during the summer is some of the slowest in the area. I’ll pass
Lunches, brunches, casual after work drink… Over all being a local of the ocean view area I have been a patron now and again. The summer time is lovely beach front and a nice patio area. Live bands on the weekends. I’ve always taken this place now for lunch on the weekends or the happy hour. Evening inside you will hit your good and bad. I wouldn’t come here for a couples thing. Maybe couple friends to see the band. The quality of the food is pretty great compared to the other beach front establishments in the area. Typical flat top burgers. Reasonable drink prices for beer though, start heading into the areas of shooters and mixers it will catch up to your wallet. To some post yes the evening girls can be a problem at few times here and there. Being close to a naval station I could see there frustration with bad tippers and single fellas hitting on them. Establishment wise carpet is pretty old and the atm. Have to take note gents there is only a trough urinal. No toliets. 5 decent pool tables and a very new internet jukebox. Take it or leave it there are many high points but pending the time frame you come here.
One bartender last two weeks. Charges 3 dollars for rum and cokes during happy hours, might be right thought happy hour was till at least 7pm i was there at 530pm, serves horribly watered down rum and cokes for 3 dollars. confronted me in restaurant in front of my work collegues, said she works only for tips or something , i guess that is why i got a lousy drink. wtf ronnie boone did me get me a satisfactory drink. . i dont need this when enjoying my sun afternoon fun
Well…been here a few times but won’t be coming back. Apparently the owner decided that he’s not going to show basketball games (attempting to not draw a certain clientele)? F Greenies…I didn’t come because of the games but I won’t come back because of them.
Should not be called a restaurant! Terrible!. My husband and I went to Greenies thinking it be a nice place to eat because of the ocean view. This place should not be called a restaurant. It is terrible! It took 15 min to get our drink order and another 50 min to get our food. Which by the way was a rip off $13 for a piece of fried fish and fries. And the fries werent even cooked through. We asked to speak to a manager and was told that he/she went home. Horrible expierence, such a shame because the view is great.
Awesome. So i have been reading comments below. half of these negative comments i know for a fact have been coming from the staff of mojo bones and this disturbs me. markie starr is or was a bartender from there. how terrible of a person do you have to be to post horrible things about a restaurant just because you want business. for future viewers of this site please try greenies for yourself before listening to these lies.
