Best chinese i’ve had in forever. I just moved to the ward’s corner area and have been making it my business to explore everything in the area. Kin’s is very convenient for me as I live in the apartments right behind the shopping center. I ordered shrimp fried rice (my usual and the standard by which I judge all Chinese restaurants) and I have to say it was the best I’ve had in Norfolk in a long time. It wasn’t oily AND had bean sprouts (which I love). While I do wish it had egg, I was still very much pleased. I have yet to find a place whose shrimp fried rice matches that of a place called The Great Wok in Charlotte, NC, but this comes close. I highly recommend them and will use them as my Chinese joint.

Tasty Food. Got the general tso chicken and was very good. The chicken was lightly coated and crispy. Husband got the seafood mei fun with pancit noodles and said it was good.

Completely scrambling cheap tasty food. Take out only. Next to a topless place. Don’t bring the kids.

2nd best is still pretty good.. Kin’s Wok II is not as good as the flagship location in Ghent, but is still awfully good. The menu is nearly the same, though some dishes are prepared differently. The dumplings at this location, for example, contain large amounts of strong garlic which some may be out off by. Service is even friendlier here than in Ghent, though. If you give them a tip they act as if you’ve just descended from heaven to rain gold and jewels upon them. They also take credit cards, which gives them one distinct advantage over their sister location.
