Excellent!. We are very pleased with our Krispy Kreme. Actually, I live on Knotts Island, NC but the Virginia Beach Krispy Kreme is the closest to us (about 40 minutes away). It is very worth the drive and we absolutely love it. Respectful staff, clean restaurant, excellent food. Would only get better with crushed ice in their speciality coffees. Love it!!
Absolutely the worst ran and managed Krispy Kreme we’ve ever been to. Dirty everyone was rude cashier tried to charge us $30 for a dozen doughnuts. We asked for hot doughnut and they would not let us buy them. We are used to Krispy Kreme being great and professional. Get new manager and workers and clean up!
This is the WORST Krispy Kreme ever! The workers were lazy, they had burnt doughnuts, we ordered 1 dozen assorted and they rang us up wrong and charged us $30 before they finally fixed it. The workers were rude and we’re horribly inefficient. Krispy Kreme has such a good reputation especially down south (from Texas) but this was just awful. We should have just left. Oh and they were making fresh donuts pulling them off the line but said they didn’t have any hot ones… Uhm ok?
Excellent doughnuts. This place isn’t really a restaurant–it’s a donut joint! I’ve had donuts up and down the east coast, and all the way to the pacifc coast. I understand and appreciate the difference between these and cake donuts.. I have had, and enjoyed DD’s, cruellars, etc, but they’re just not the same.Having said that, the donuts are wonderful. These are, and always will be, my favorite. Light, airy, sweet and flavorful. My wife and I picked some up on our first date! Kids love them. They are a sinful indulgence to be enjoyed in moderation.
NOT GOOD. I don’t understand all the hype with these doughnuts. The glaze tastes horrible and it’s coated on the doughnuts like armor. I can get better tasting doughnuts at walmart and thats saying something.
Joy is…. Watching all those doughnuts glide down the conveyor belt to be coated in glaze and cashier pick them up with those sticks and place each one with care in a box for you.A hot doughnut from here is one of those awesome pleasures in life and is easily a can’t miss thing.The second-best part is microwaving a doughnut for a few seconds the next day (if you have any left) and having this ridiculously hot and perfect treat (seriously though, no more than 10 seconds and let it sit unless you want to scald the inside of your mouth).
