Went here on a Sunday and they were out of EVERYthing. Got down to my third choice on food and fourth choice of beer. Granted, I don’t eat meat, but those who did faced the same issue. Most ended up getting burgers. I get the impression it’s more of a bar, as it’s very loud and active most nights.
Just off ODU’s campus, Mojos is a perfect spot for good food during the day and great times at night with their unique drink specials, friendly staff like Ashton, and popularity among the student body. We bring our parents here when they’re in town too, and they always love the BBQ and decor.
The food is good and not too expensive, they have good specials throughout the week on drinks, and I always have to go see my favorite waitress Lisa for Jell-O shots.
I go to mojo quite often. Live music, open mic night, and wing night. Food is good, decent location. The bartenders are what make this place great. Kaitlyn is the bees knees!
EAT BEFORE YOU GO HERE!!. Stale bread, SYSCO bought BBQ, bland, tasteless coleslaw, crappy service. May be a good place for music and bottled beer, but I wouldn’t know, because I will never spend another dime at this place.
Outdoor patio!. Such a great place to have a few drinks and relax while listening to the band! Sat out on their patio, watching the characters of OceanView last weekend. Plan on doing the exact same thing this Saturday night!
Food is good, wait staff average, kitchen service is terrible. We hit this place every so often for lunch because it’s close to the base. The special is always a pork BBQ sandwich and fries. You can order 6 specials and 3 will come right away and the other 3 will take 20 minutes or more. Isn’t the idea everyone in the party gets their food at the same time. And if you don’t get the special be ready to wait and wait.so if they can figure out their kitchen issues they would have an OK place to eat. Until that happens we’re not going back.
