Worth the drive from suffolk. My dad first introduced me to this place at least 20 years ago. the staff is nice, the service is great, the food is excellent. the egg drop soup is perfection, the spring rolls as well. the hot and sour soup is the perfect blend of tart, the beef dishes are well prepared and the meat is tender, the shrimp dishes(all of them) are perfectly cooked, the chicken dishes are so goood. i am so glad after moving back here that the royal garden is one of the best places for chinese in the city of norfolk.
I just wanted to say how much I enjoy this little place.My neighbors have been coming here for years, an I’ve finally caught on to it a few months ago.An I just love it, they’re Delicious, Fast, Affordable & Friendly. ~Thanks you guys
Order from here if you want to get hustled. The bottom half of our sesame chicken was all crispy noodles, and the Mongolian beef should have been called Mongolian onions. Really regretting I moved so far from yummy wok
Great restaurant with good prices. We live in the area, and have frequented this little restaurant quite a bit, with never a bad dish. food is tasty and affordable with a decent atmosphere and friendly staff. recommend. go check them out. 🙂
Loveeeee this place , I’ve eaten at a few Chinese restaurants in my lifetime . I would have to say this is one of the besttt no doubt ! They have great customer service and always so friendly . I had triple delight and i really like the sauce and veggies in it , and their crab cheese wontons are sooooo good !
Really!. Looked at reviews that gave it good ratings, one said best in Norfolk. Well if it’s is the best…keep driving. Chicken Wings awful! Breaded wings like a chicken shack, egg rolls OK but more like a fast food drive through, Beef Terr..OK. Thank God I did not try anything else. Stick to New York, Boston Chinese food…
We got the General Tso Chicken, Szechuan Beef, Shrimp Egg Foo Young & it was ALL amazing!! Some places really can’t do good Egg Foo Young but this was SO good. Mmmm…also got shrimp toast, crab wontons and egg rolls which were more spring rolls with the crisp wrappers . OMG! Yum to all. This is my new fav place!
