So Good!. I stopped in recently on one of our snow filled evenings. I had just picked a friend up from work and was on my back and decided I didn’t really feel like cooking dinner. As I pulled up to the intersection I could see their lights were still on so I ventured stopping in and asking if they would make me a pizza. The young lady behind the register said they would as they were still making carry out orders but not delivering because of the snow. That was perfect.To my surprise I see the owner, Todd, working the pizza oven. Todd used to be the head chef over at Segundo over in Portsmouth before striking out on his own. I had a great chat with him and both have some mutual friends so he remembered me from our visits at his old restaurant. He’s had a great year and they now have 3 PIzzaria’s, this one here in Norfolk and 2 in Virginia Beach.A short time later our pie was ready and off into the snowy night we went. We had a gigantic meat lovers pie and as always, it was delicious. Check them if you’re hungry for pizza in the Wards Corner area.26 Oct, 2014Hit’s the spot!. Been a while since I updated my review here and now is as good a time as any. I did a delivery order from them on Tuesday night. The special that evening as a single topping pizza with a second for half price. Sounds good to me. I ordered 2 pizza’s had part of one for dinner and put the other in the fridge for the next day.Pie’s here are a little on the large side and you definitely get your moneys worth. I’ve enclosed a photo of one of the medium pizzas, it literally fills the box.BTW, they pass the cold pizza test as well. 4 stars!28 May, 2014Excellent Pizza in Wards Corner!. I’ve had the pleasure of having several meals from here now and have been totally satisfied after each experience. I’ve stopped by for lunch and had a slice in their little personal sized dining area, and have also had delivery a couple of times as well.The food is always super fresh and tastes excellent. I can also say that you’re getting a lot pizza for you pay. Toppings are more than plentiful and there’s always enough left over to have for lunch the next day or two. The staff has also been very friendly from the folks at the restaurant to the delivery drivers.One last thing, regarding their delivery, I’ve found no one faster. Each time they’ve quoted me a delivery time they’ve actually arrived sooner than expected. I like that. I suggest giving them a try if you’re in the Wards Corner area. I think you’ll like it.
