Anna Seafood Restaurant. The food is very good, on occasions; however, I find the hush puppies to be fried too hard and lacks fresh ingredients of a traditional hush puppy. The fish is sometimes very good; the shrimp and scallops are awesome, but I would advise a first-timer to make sure that the meal is cooked to one’s liking before exiting the restaurant. When I complained about the fish being fried too hard, the manager was extremely upset, but that was his problem! You’d thought he would take my constructive criticism by trying to improve the overall quality of the product but somehow that conversation fell on deaf ears.

Good casual spot for seafood on a budget. Even the dinner prices here are a steal, and the food is quite good. The shrimp and the hushpuppies have just the right amount of breading. The hushpuppies are also good and moist. The coleslaw is surprisingly good with a little sweetness to it. I’m not one to enjoy coleslaw, but this stuff is a cut above your average slaw. The fries are lightly seasoned and plentiful. The whiting isn’t fantastic. The batter as well as the fish itself is a little tough and chewy. I’ll get the shrimp again, but I’ll probably substitute oysters for whiting next time. There’s a $7 minimum on credit card charges. For casual dining, I think this place is a great value.

Anna’s Seafood is classic Mom and Pop dining. The service is friendly and quick. And they are cranking it out. I had the Fried Shrimp, delicious. Hush puppies are spot on. Great fries. The smell of fresh steamed crab legs hangs in the air. Its awesome! If you got a hankering for fresh catch. Hit this place up. Worth your time. Nicely Done Anna’s Seafood.

Don’t waist your time or money!!!! food was terrible! terrible! Fries where soggy, hush puppies are fried dough. And the shrimp and crab cakes are rubbery as buddle gum. I should have went to caption d’s or long john silvers

NOT fine dining, but worth the price.. As my title says, the jumbo shrimp were great. Pros: The prices were great. The staff was friendly. The menu had plenty of options. Cons: If you’re use to fine dining and red carpet customer service, this place is not for you. My wife and I love this place, but we also enjoy finding the dives for awesome food. One last important note: My wife ordered the snow crab, but was disappointed to find out (after we paid and received the food) that they do not serve melted butter to dip the crab in.
