Takeout wings. We ordered here for the first time today as a take out order. When we came into the place at about six it was packed, and very loud. We ordered 24 wings, with 4 sauces: Jerk, Hot Honey, Shay’s Way and Garlic Parmesan. The price is less than at for example Buffalo Wild Wings. The Jerk was standard Jerk, the hot honey not as hot as you would think, Shay’s way was the only real original flavor. The garlic parmesan was very parmesan-y and little garlic to it. Overall, we will for sure come back to get some more and probably try some of the other choices.Ten minutes of wait time was super fast and efficient.
Not Impressed. The woman on the phone taking our order was nice but that was about it.I got the sweet potato waffle, bacon, and scrambled eggs. The waffle wasn’t sweet potato; it was just cinnamon sugar and very tough. The eggs were disgusting; they were overcooked, crumby, and dry. The bacon was disgusting as well and very little meat on it. I have no intention of returning.
Great wings..i love them please give this place a try its a little small inside but i usually get my wings to go, prices are very reasonable also!!
Wings were great, but the traditional chicken and waffle idea wasn’t there. Also, the service was so bad we left halfway through.
Great little place. A friend and I went here about 7pm on a friday night not knowing what to expect. Walked in noticed it was a small space with seating on the sides of each wall, small island bar stool seating in the middle and small bar in the rear. It wasn’t a lot of people there. When we walked in no one greeted us, so we just sat ourselves and a waitress greeted us propmptly. They have a great menu, not only yummy homey favorite like chicken and waffles, but we tried shrimp and grits and the cheeseburger. Our waitress was very friendly and our food arrived quickly. Both entrees was beautifully plated and tasted delicious. I am not a fan of grits, but this dish totally changed my mind, flavorful, rich and spicey the shrimp was tender, just perfect! The burger came on soft pretzel bread and homemade fries, such a wonderful little twist on a classic. We had great service, the atmosphere was nice and the food was great. The only thing I would say, is that they need to put up a sign stating seat yourself, because we noticed regulars just came in and took a seat. Would be a perfect little after hours spot for drinks after work or the club.
Great Place. I had lemon pepper chicken wings and waffle. The waffle was not hot so I asked the waitress to put it in the microwave. Upon her return I had a new hot waffle that was scrumptious. I returned w/a friend 3 days later and all of the food was delicious. I am here to tell you Christine is the best bartender in town. I requested a Hurricane drink that I saw other young ladies drinking and it was nice. I highly recommend Wing Bistro because the food is good, drinks are the best and the atmosphere is like being up DC.
Hampton Gem!. I wish i had known about this gem sooner! This is what I’m going to consider as a gourmet chicken and waffles joint. You can get different flavors of wings and waffles and at a great price. What I enjoyed most about this restaurant is that everything is made from scratch from the waffle batter to the sauces, so you know you are getting quality food. Highly recommend.
