First time at DJ’s and it’s a winner. We were able to eat outside in the garden and that was a great choice – it rained a bit but we were under a tent and all was fine.We shared the Tomato Bruschetta and loved it. Smoked gouda, artichoke hearts, smoked tomato and good crunchy bread.She had the Taste of New Orleans which was a sampler of 3 entrees. While all were good, especially the shrimp, it was not a good choice economically – the portions were too small.I tried the Crawfish Etouffee and liked it a lot. Plenty of the tasty little critters in a thick sauce and rice that certainly filled you up.We also tried their mixed drinks, a Mint Julep (ok) and a DJ’s Hurricane (very good) and was pleasantly surprised that you could actually taste the liquor in the drinks – unusual.Our server, Joshua, was right on top of things despite the rain and that added to our enjoyment.Give DJ’s Rajun Cajun a try!
