Used this app to find it! Nice local bar and grill. We liked the atmosphere immediately. Our server was good, had solid recommendations and was attentive. The house salad was excellent, topped with homemade dressings. Our main courses were excellent as was the bread. Alcohol prices were quite competitive. If you’re in Staunton visit this eatery.
Oh my god!!! My wife and I stayed in the Stonewall Jackson right across the street so we walked over. I had filet mignon with a red wine sauce. Now I’ve had a lot of steak over the years and this is the best thing I have ever eaten. Their raspberry butter was awesome! We went to the bar after dinner and the bar staff was so nice and they let us stay a bit later ad they cleaned up. I fully recommend this restruant for anyone. It’s a bit pricey but totally worth it. Stayed at the stonewall Jackson, and this place was within walking distance, so we chose to have dinner here! Oh my goodness! It was soooo good! I had a dirty martini first; which was excellent. Then they brought out the bread and some raspberry butter. Holy guacamole, that butter was incredible! I ordered the mahi mahi as my entree, and although it was a tad over cooked, it was delicious with the accompanying sauce. I had the fried green tomatoes as my side, and they were delicious too. Staff was very friendly, and we will most definitely be back on our next trip!
