It’s a small place and the two owners are not that nice. It’s always good but just something about the place just doesn’t make me wanna eat here. It’s not dirty just idk.
Wow What Improvements!. Turns out management only found out about the negative feedback two weeks ago because they don’t use the internet! I stopped by today – I’ve been doing so for about 5 years now – and there are many changes. Prices are back to 2006 levels to attract new customers, and there are daily lunch specials from 11am to 5 pm. Many menu changes are being made in response to customer feedback. New drink items are available. Its great to see, and as always, the taste is great as the sushi is always fresh. This is my favorite sushi restaurant in the area – and I lived 7 years in Japan.
HORRIBLE and a COMPLETE RIP OFF! Owner is nice but very talkative and pushy into what to order… Paid 40 for sushi to be served on paper plates is ridiculous. Environmental friendly my ass! Everything is overpriced and sushi is def not the best as she claims…. I would have rather went to a buffet sushi even though I hate buffets. I never write reviews but trust me when I say this place is def not worth trying out!!!! You have been warned my friends
Bento cafe sushi and roll. The lady that is always there is VERY talkative. She is also VERY proud to show you her ‘fans’ and tell you about her homemade soy sauce. One thing that concerns me is the dumplings. Although they are delicious, I fear they may be made with pork or some other type of meat even though she says they are veggie. It is a bit overpriced for my taste. BUT usually very delicious. I always get the shrimp tempura and no other place makes it like this place. So I always have to pay for what I want and even travel a distance to get to it. The one thing that I really don’t like about this place though is that there is not a lot of room for customization like there is at Sakura. You can only choose from the menu items. The only customization you can do is buying the rolls separately in packs of 4,6, or 8. But I just love the shrimp tempura here!
The sushi was great, everything is homemade and done with pride and care. The service is a bit untraditional (including teaching us to eat the right way) but is so friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
Sushi is good and the owner makes her own soy sauce, just ask her she will tell you all about it and then some! Dining hear is a real experience so be prepared. The owner loves to talk and you will leave having learned a thing or twelve!
Do not waste your time here. My children and I wanted to just chill and have a nice meal together, but instead ended up being lectured during our meal by the owner about chewing each bite 30 times and not drinking while eating. The sushi was mediocre at best. I’ve had better just buying it in the supermarket.
