It’s a shame. Small businesses fear the 3% American Express costs, but is ok that I had to walk out and not spend $20 for lunch (on corp account). Smelled good though.
Great place for a barbecue at a very reasonable price. The sauces are made on site and are not your typical store-bought sauce. They have an amazing amount of side dishes to choose from but I would recommend the muddy spuds. If you’re feeling like a carb overload go for the overstuffed baked potato I guarantee it will be two meals worth. And for those who don’t understand the joke about the breakfast menu they have to place something on the menu for breakfast I love you got to put their names on a sign on the highway.
7 out of 10. Pretty good but not great- ribs and pork shoulder. Good portions.

Best Barbeque in Virginia. I can not even describe how good this barb que is ,you just have to stop and try It. I’m from Texas and this is the best in this part of the world .Thank you Dixie Bones for a tastes of Home.
The food used to be much better. The prices have gone up terribly. We have been to much better barbecue places.
Rip Off. Read the sign about breakfast and turn around. This place is run by redneck a-holes.
