Consistently Good food. We have been ordering take out for years at least a few times a month. Love General Tsoi shrimp & chicken, the satay beef or chicken, crab rangoon, house lo mien, Kung Pao shrimp, and the kids especially love the wonton soup. If you pick it up instead of delivery, 90% of the time they have offered us something for free (like a 2-liter of soda). Usually our order is over $50. VERY nice and they get the order right EVERY time we have ordered.
Hot Wok – the best in town!. I love Chinese cuisine. My initial measure of a restaurant’s quality is the taste of the hot n’ sour soup.Hot Wok’s soup pass the first test with flying colors! The rest of the fare followed suit (thus proving once again that my method works…)Pen’s is fine… if you need to impress a client – but if your client likes good food more than table cloths – then meet at Hot Wok!On other note – Hot Wok’s owner is a fine person of good character. Her friendly service alone makes a trip to Hot Wok a worthwhile experience. My favorite: House Special NoodlesMy wife’s favorite: Beef and Broccoli Thanks for listening.
Good, but not the best. Hot Wok is ok, but I prefer Pen’s. The one thing I like about them is I feel their prices are a little better than Pen’s and they have lunch specials.
Hot Wok is the best; try it yourself. I have tried Pen’s and Lucky China after moved into Purcellville from Fairfax and was really disappointed. I thought there won’t be a good Chinese restaurant in this town until I tried Hot Wok. I think Hot Wok has the best Chinese food in town.
Why Bother!?. You have Pen’s across the street and lucky china down a little further… and this place is about a BILLION times grosser than both of those. Avoid!!!!
Better now that there’s new mgmt. You get some awesome deals at lunch….and now that there’s new management, it’s a little more consistent…
