The atmosphere is a bit spare in this Reston Town Center eatery, which is a comment I could also make for our server, whose English wasnt strong. The drunken noodles were very different from other iterations of this dish Ive eaten, with wider rice noodles that were slippery and delicate, swimming in a looser sauce, pungently spicy, with Thai basil, cherry tomatoes and slices of Thai chiles studding the plate.Duck spring rolls were shatteringly crisp, with thick-cut scallions to cut the richness of the duck, and a puddle of hoisin sauce to lend sweetness to the flavor profile. bighungryshelby.com
Worst ever experience in a restaurant!. We were at the restaurant on Friday evening. The food was terrible and the owner/ manager (Nick) was rude and arrogant. We ordered a Thai tea. wild chicken and Pad Thai. The wild chicken was watery and salty. The chicken smelled unpleasant. The dish was inedible. We returned the chicken dish and asked for another Pad Thai. While eating the Pad Thai I chewed on a piece of rock. We called the manager and showed him the piece of rock. He asked if we want to replace the dish, but we declined. The chicken dish and Pad Thai left an awful feeling and we deiced to not eat anymore. Nick, the owner/ manager brought us the check and he charged us for Pad Thai and Thai tea. When we confronted him about finding a piece of rock in the food, he said that is not his problem and that happens. According to him finding and chewing on a piece of rock is normal in his restaurant. Nick was rude and the restaurant does not know anything about serving hygienic food and customer satisfaction. It was our worst experience in a restaurant. Will never go again to Busara in Reston.

Good and fast. Everything on the menu is fair priced and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Will be dining here again.
Busara. I ate here today with a dining companion for lunch. Upon arriving we could see that the decor of the restaurant was pretty bland and there was nothing special to distinguish it from the many other restaurants in the area. For my lunch entree I ordered the Ka Pow with beef while my dining companion ordered the Gang Gai. The food was at our table within about 5 minutes of ordering which was nice as both myself and my dining companion had time constraints due to a training class. My dish was served with rice on the side and had a very plain appearance with a little green or red intermixed with the majority brown of the sauce. My dining companions meal looked entirely green with the green curry sauce and offered no other colors. The taste of the food was much better than the look though and had the nice little kick that I expected out of Thai Food. I can’t say that it was anything special but it was solid Thai food. The bottom line for me is that I might come back here if I was hungry for Thai food and in Reston in the future. The speed with which the food comes out does make it a good candidate for those who want to eat a quick lunch during the day.
Good, not great. I had the spring rolls and shrimp fried rice; both were just ok, I sampled my friend’s coconut soup and drunken noodles, they were a little more tasty than my dishes.
