Wonderful sushi!
Great food and atmosphere. This restaurant will be added to my list for special occasions along side Morton’s and Ruth Chris with seafood fare. The crab cakes and chipino was amazing.
Bad food and service. Food took forever to come out, and when it did, it was not cooked properly and tasted awful. Management did nothing to rectify the situation.
Good and bad. The food we ordered could vary from being excellent to average depending on what they were. Most of the waiters we experienced were friendly and well trained. Some of the female receptionists located on the front desk would make customers feeling unwelcome by making eyes contact only to one but not everybody in the group (eg 2). If such arrogant behavior doesn’t get improved, most likely customers won’t be having much enthusiasm in coming back.
Disappointing Meal Selections. I took a friend to this restaurant to celebrate her birthday. Though I am allergic to shellfish, the menu clearly had fresh fish advertised. When our server finally got to our table, I let her know that I had a shellfish allergy. She told me that ALL of their fish selections were prepared in a lobster base. I asked if they could just take a fish fillet or steak and either broil or grill it with nothing? A person from the kithen came out and told me that this was not possible!!! I’m sorry, but what type of seafood restaurant can’t broil or grill a plain piece of fish?? I ended up ordering vegetarian sushi and that was my meal. Clearly I will NOT be returning.
Splendid staff, wonderful wine and food, and in a great location. Wow, you can even dine outside.
We took visiting family there for dinner on Feb 25th. Restaurant looked great BUT very lousy service and over priced. Lets talk food – Stone crab was not fresh, creole salmon dish was flavorless, lobster in clay pot took all night to chew and gumbo was more like mystery stew. Family from Chicago totally underwhelmed.
