Burgers are good but kids’ menu is a joke. We had seen this place and never ventured in as I make great burgers at home so why pay that price for such a simple dish?! Until last night, we had a long day and decided to give it a try. We ordered the bison burgers which were ok and cooked to specification. The parmesan fries were delicious. Now, about the kids menu…. My daughter got the PB&J sandwich ($6) and that was just that, 2 slices of bread with PB&J. So yep, a bit pricey (they could throw the drink with it). My son got the kids burger which was awful, overcooked, tiny. So overall, we won’t go back. Service was slow to bring the plates, then, in a hurry to take them back as soon as we seemed to be slowing down. The adult burgers were good but nothing special. 5 guys make better ones (or red robin if you want to be waited).
I heard they had a vegan burger so ventured over and asked the waiter who confirmed that yes indeed it was which meant no eggs! It was extremely good went home and looked up to see if I could find the recipe on line and while I did the recipe said its held together with eggs! :(. While I won’t freak out or die because of eating an egg I would like to know if its true and if so why not be honest!
It’s an awesome burger place where you can have it how you want it. All ingredients are fresh and organic, portions are huge, and both the shoe string fries and sweet potato fries are amazing. About $8 a burger and a plate of fries is enough for two, but it’s worth the buck. All the other negative reviews were products of bad service, but regardless the food is awesome. I’ve also never had a problem with the service, no one stole my money, and burgers came out how I ordered them.
I want to like the counter, but in the 4 or 5 times my husband and I have gone, they never get our orders 100% correct. Tasty, but we’ve stopped going, it’s too expensive not to get what you want.
I’ve only been here once and we ordered one big plate of fries and shared them. It was pretty good. The service wasn’t anything impressive but it wasn’t bad by any means. They could look a tad bit more professional though.
Dislike. I would like to tell you about my experience. It was myself and 2 other friends. The 2 of us ordered our burgers pink med rare. They both came out well done. I eat mine but she asked for another one. Her next one came out raw and then the 3rd one came out overdone again. I am not sure but someone took hers off the bill and also gave her a card for a free burger next time. What was the worst part was when the bill came to 32.00 and some change. I gave the woman my CC and said please put 15.00 on my card and then pay the rest 17.77 out of the 28.00 cash. The waiter came back with the total bill charged to my account and he kept the 28.00 difference of the cash and not offered to give it back. I told him no that he was supposed to charge my cc 15.00 and take the difference out of the 28.00. He came back with my cc charged 15.00 and KEPT the 28.00 making it over 10.00 tip. I told him that we wanted the change back. I was SO mad that he tried twice to keep that change twice that I left DIMA no tip. This was all of are first time there and will probably be the last one.
Incredibly UNimpressive. Visited recently with a group of friends on a very cold night. Entering the restaurant, the dining room was cold – the lack of an airlock coupled by moronic patrons made it almost worth retaining one’s coat during dinner. The menu is long and impressive with some pre-selected options which was nice for those who have trouble making decisions about what and how much to put on a burger. The fries were shoe-string style and very good – too bad they went cold within a minute or two of arrival b/c the room temperature was so cold. The burger was pricey and not that impressive – again, the room temperature caused the food to get cold almost immediately which severely affected the dining experience.Worst was the service which was, at best, inattentive and muddled. The waiter continually forgot requests and relayed information from the kitchen at a glacial pace. Drinks remained empty for 20 minutes and food arrived even slower. Save the money and goto Red Robin or Fuddrucker’s – no, they’re not trendy but for the same money, you’ll get a decent burger and hopefully from a server who has been trained on how to wait on tables.
