Ok yes this place is expensive but you are paying for the overall experience. I love the shrimp Mac and cheese–some of the best in the area. Plenty to bring home for a second meal. I get it with a side Caesar with anchovies. It is very flavorful. Thais meal with a bottle of wine and I’m a very happy camper. The popcorn is good and I love eating it out of a real bowl. It is not something we do every week due to the price but it is definitely a great treat to eat good food, drink booze, and watch a movie in comfy chairs.31 Aug, 2013Great experience! The seats were nice, service was very polite and attentive, and the food was good. My mom raved about the cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. I enjoyed my side Caesar and shrimp Mac & cheese. eatdrinkrva.blogspot.com
Nothing to see here…. First visit to CineBistro and it will be my last. While the idea seems wonderful, the implementation is not. The seats are uncomfortable despite being plush. The food isn’t bad but who wants to pay to basically eat from a TV tray. The servers are there up through the previews and then you fend for yourself if you want a refill on a drink or whatever. Oh, and they add a 17.5% gratuity to the check before you’ve even experienced the service. I normally tip 20% for good service but here you’re tipping before you know what you’re getting. I’d say there were probably only 8 to 12 prime seats in the theater and the rest are too far up/down, left/right – understandable because of the space needed for the oversize seats, trays and room for servers. We had 2 entrees, one beverage and one popcorn and with the price of the movie our total came in at more than $80.If for some reason you feel you have to have an alcoholic beverage to watch a movie then this might be the place for you. Otherwise skip it and catch the matinee somewhere for a lot less money and eat at your favorite restaurant that serves drinks.
Food was better than expected (obviously a bit overpriced though). Drink prices also a tad high. Overall, though, a unique and pleasant experience.
Great theatre for several reasons: you pick and reserve your seats in advance so no fighting lines or worrying where you will sit; 21 and over only; food and drinks during the movie (remember 21 and up); and no kids. Some of the food isn’t great, but my wife and I tired the shrimp Mac and cheese and the chili buffalo wings and they were both great. The crab dip and popcorn is always good as well. Overall, Cinebistro has become our go to theatre.
Fun Times. I always get a cheeseburger, a bunch of lady cocktails and the food here is always good. I am elated to have a comfy chair, a real plate and 21 & up customer base, so I am not going to nit pick on little things that could be better. The fact is, they flat out deliver lots of hot food to a large group in a 30 minute period of time. I appreciate a clean, upscale environment for special date night occassions. At some point (3rd cocktail), I usually pretend that I am in a first class airplane, receiving awesome in-flight service and food. In closing, stick to something easy to eat in the dark; drink up, and have fun. After all, it’s the movies!
Enjoyed it!!!. I can’t say that I really have any complaints about CineBistro or their service. Everything that I’ve ordered to eat was good, especially the run stack sandwich. The ribs were very tender and the sauce was good, not too sweet. The drinks could stand to be a little stronger but beyond that I have no complaints. The staff was very attentive and I wish they had something available like this for family’s besides the regular theaters and their weak offerings of nachos and pizza. I’ll be back again.
We loved the experience but wasnt impressed by the food. We’ll definitely be back, but instead of ordering a steak, we’ll eat dinner ahead of time and enjoy dessert with our movie.
