I went for lunch. Had the club sandwich. It was tasty but nothing to right home about. This place ok and fast. Service was a little quirky and the place needs some cleaning. But all in all it was a decent lunch break meal. The food is just normal easy stuff. Done here without fear but don’t expect to be blown away.

Stay away! If it wasn’t bad enough that my 2 year olds Chicken tenders where completely RAW on the inside and my 5 year olds burger was cold, bun frozen, the manager didn’t even come over to the table to say sorry! Out waitress was nice and apologetic and had to deliver his message. He was walking around and looked at us a couple times but never took time to come over;( also, he had the waitress still serve us the 22.00 check! I’m the mother of two and a military wife so patience is definitely something I have and I understand things happen, but I could have left out of there feeling a little better about the establishment as a whole if the owner/manager would have taken initiative and responsibility and apologized ! I will never go back and I would not recommend to others!
Great Place!. I’ve eaten here several times in the past few months. The reuben sandwich was good, the corned beef and cabbage not so much (more bland then expected). I like the atmosphere and it’s a great place to go with your family. Milk shake was great!
The decor needs help ASAP. The food was just ok and nothing special. I just can’t get over the fact that Southern Living magazine loves this place
Good Experiences. After reading about the Dairy Bar in Southern Living and being familiar with Curles Neck Dairy that existed when I was growing up, I went with several friends to the Bar for breakfast. The food and service were both very good. My husband and I recently went for lunch and we were both pleased and we will go back
Great for breakfast or lunch. I wouldn’t take a client here for lunch (well I did actually) but this place is great for breakfast or a quick downtown lunch. Fantastic milk shakes. A-typical homemade diner food. Comfort food.
