Burnt calzone. I am deeply disappointed that my server had enough nerve to serve me this calzone. Then, did nothing when I told him it was dark. No more Frank’s for me.
Really great, friendly service but didn’t like my meal. Greek salad was bagged lettuce and the balsamic dressing added nothing to it. Pepperoncinis were tough and flavorless. Franks special pizza was super soggy in the middle. Onions had no flavor, crust was thick, doughy and flavorless as well.
Don’t waste your money!. I have frequented Frank’s West location on Patterson Ave. and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit…service and food excellent although a bit pricey. Thinking Frank’s at Stoney Point Shopping Center was the same owner as the location on Patterson Ave., without hesitation, I recommended we dine at Frank’s South last night……and spent the rest of the night apologizing to my date for the absolutely terrible experience…not to mention an almost $100 check for 2 people that did not include wine or dessert! I wouldn’t mind spending that much for a nice dinner for 2, however there was nothing pleasant about the experience, we never received all the items we ordered, and the waitress was in such a frenzied rush we couldn’t catch her attention, no itemized check at the end to verify accuracy, tasteless overpriced food and a frigid breeze every time the front door opened.. I have never written a restaurant review before, but I can assure you that I will never return. I don’t know how this restaurant stays open. Don’t don’t waste your money!!!!!!
