Best Bar in RVA. Absolutely love Gus’s. As has been said below the beer is reasonably priced and the food is surprisingly good. Additionally, every member of staff is very friendly and if you’re lucky enough to be in when the owner is there, you’re in for a treat – what a friendly and funny guy! This place is the go-to spot for all your Premier League, Champions League, and World Cup needs. Always got a good mix of knowledgeable and loyal football (soccer) fans!

Nice sportsbar in the Fan. Although I prefer Home Team Grill, this sports bar has perks- TVs at each table that you can change yourself, some cheaper specials, etc. Home Team is definitely the nicest sports bar in the area, but this is second best.
Went to Gus’s again today to watch the US soccer match. Ordered another one of the sandwiches and was pleasantly surprised again. Great selection of beers. Plenty of tv’s to watch whatever you want, good and interesting customers and great staff. A must try for any sports fan and a good place to eat for anyone.

Gus Bar = Soccer Bar!. Gus Bar is Richmond’s newest soccer bar, with so many TVs your face will hurt! From looking at them, I guess. Despite your hurting face, you will be immensely happy that Gus Bar has the best soccer channel selection of any bar in the city. Seriously, they have everything you could ever want to watch. I went for a Champions League game recently, and every single CL game was on. And if you know CL, that’s a lot. I was amazed! All the apps are great, the beer is fine, they have Diet Coke. And even brunch on Sundays, so you can watch a 10 a.m. match and eat an egg&cheese biscuit. It’s the usual bar food, nothing fancy. The owner is a big Manchester United fan, so those games will always be on the big TVs. However, ALL the booths have their own TVs, so you can watch whatever you want. I guess you can watch other sports (blerg) but if you want obscure soccer matches, Gus is the place! I’m so happy for this bar to exist!
